The Client Portal lets you view your billing documents and payment history online. You can also make easy, secure payments through the portal if your clinician offers Online Payments.
In this guide, we’ll cover:
- Entering your card information
- Making payments
- Viewing your billing documents
- Viewing your payment history
Entering your card information
To pay for your appointments through the Client Portal, you’ll need to have a credit or debit card on file. If your clinician has requested this information, you'll see a Credit card information form among your intake paperwork. To complete this form:
- Log in to the Client Portal
- Navigate to the Documents tab
- Select the Credit card information form
- Enter your card details
- Click Save Credit Card
Note: Your card won't be charged when you submit this form. To learn more about completing documents in the Client Portal, see Signing documents and forms.
You can also add a new card at any time. This card will be stored in the Client Portal for you to use when making future payments. To add a new card:
- Navigate to Billing & Payments > Payment Methods
- Click + New Card
- When entering a new card, you can choose to make it your default card going forward
- Click Save
Note: If you’re enrolled in AutoPay, the default card will be charged your full balance overnight after a new invoice is created. Please reach out to your clinician to confirm if you’re enrolled in AutoPay.
If you have multiple saved cards, you can change the default card in the Payment Methods section.
Note: While you can add new cards in the Client Portal, you can't edit or remove cards on file. To make these changes, please reach out to your clinician directly.
Making payments
After adding a card, you can make payments directly from the Client Portal. You'll have the option to either pay your total balance or pay individual invoices.
Note: At this time, you can't make partial payments through the Client Portal.
To view and pay your total balance:
- Navigate to Billing & Payments
- Click Pay Now
Note: You'll only have the option to Pay Now in the Client Portal if your clinician has Online Payments set up.
If you'd prefer, you can pay an individual invoice instead. To do this:
- Click Pay Now
Note: You'll only have the option to Pay Now in the Client Portal if your clinician has Online Payments set up.
- Confirm the amount you'd like to pay
- Select the card you'd like to use
