You can join a telehealth session from your computer without any downloads. Before your session begins, you'll be able to preview your camera and microphone, check your connection, and share your current location with your clinician so they have it available in case of an emergency.

Joining a video call
If you're using a desktop or laptop computer for your telehealth appointment, you won’t need to download anything ahead of time. To join the video call:
- From your email appointment reminder, click Join your Video Appointment
- If you can't find your email reminder, you can log in to the Client Portal and join your appointment from the Appointments tab

The video call will open in a new tab in your web browser
- If it doesn't, you can copy and paste the link into your browser

You'll see a preview where you can turn your camera on or off, mute or unmute yourself, and view your connection status
- If your internet connection is poor, click Test call quality

- Enter your name
Entering your location
Before joining a telehealth session on a web browser, your clinician may request that you enter the address where you're currently located for the appointment.
Note: If your clinician hasn’t requested that you enter your current location, you’ll only need to enter your name before joining your session.
Sharing your location is optional, but it can help your clinician support you in an emergency and comply with applicable state licensing or insurance requirements.
You can enter your current Street, City, State, and ZIP code.
If you regularly join appointments from the same device and location, check the box to Remember this address on this browser to save your address for future sessions. Your address will be pre-filled the next time you join a telehealth session, and you can confirm it, clear it, or enter a different one by selecting Use a different address.
Once you’re ready, click Ask to join.
If your clinician has a waiting room enabled, you’ll see this waiting room screen until your clinician begins the appointment.
